Undergraduate School Credit

Students who have not yet completed an undergraduate degree are invited to use their coursework at the MTCM toward a degree in child pyschology. Undergraduate school credit based on your work at the MTCM is available through Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Students enrolled in the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota, who meet Metropolitan State University admissions requirements, may have competencies gained through the MTCM assessed for academic credit at Metropolitan State University. The Montessori competencies (27 credits) will be accepted toward the Metropolitan State University Psychology major with a focus in Montessori Primary Education.

Assistant’s Course

This course focuses on the Montessori assistant and will take place again June 2011. This 60-hour course helps to ensure that all adults in contact with the children are philosophically and technically aligned. It is also an excellent course for Montessori administrators, aides and parents.
